You walked me to a glass house and told me about all the sights I could see inside. "To the left is the sea, to the right is a field. In front of you--the stars, behind you, the sun and moon. And, when you look up, you can see it all at once." But, when I tried to look around you scolded me. You told me to cover my eyes. "Why" I asked. "Because, If I let you see everything all at once, you won't see the beauty. You will just see it. But, if you wait and want to see it, then you'll know the true meaning of beauty." So, can you blame the artist for staring at the sky longer than you do. I didn't think so. |
